Odoi Odu or oh Grandma is a story using the theme of sadness old grandmother. She always saw her late husband. The village people think she is mad but she manage to cope up daily life with only her cat make her happy.

The Astro Kirana Short Film Awards 2008/2009 Awards Night was on last Saturday, 28 Feb. And wow, I can’t believe a KaDus film won. Salute to Mr. Farizie bin Morinding from Ranau. Aduiiii.. Dia guna handycam harga Rm1,500 sama Windows Movie Maker ja bah.. Translation pun ada silap sikit2 tapi.. Nda pa la bah.. Manang juga! The message is what really matters.. Really hit the spot. Mazeltov! What a breakthrough!

hey! i actually went to the kirana awards night at KLCC few weeks back. it was a very shocking win, coz his film was low-budget. Mr. Zainir who gave the speech earlier did mention that he didn’t have enough money to even attend the awards night, but he was later sponsored to come. i guess, it was worth it!
the best part is that he came wearing the traditional attire to the event
i actually nearly cried watching him walk up stage. felt proud and happy for him too. didnt get the chance to take his photo though, he was too busy later with the press. but did manage to snap with the runners up (blegh!). HAHA.
