It’s Avatar Mania when..

Though I`ve yet to see people walking the streets wearing Avatar prints on their shirts, key-chains, and car, still – Jake & Neytiri is the new Jack & Rose.

I know, right? `Cause directors know how to “plot”. Errk.

Seriously lah kan. Is Avatar really THAT good? Though I didn’t go watch Avatar in 3D, I did go watch it. Did I miss anything not wearing `em 3D goggles? You know, I watched only two sci-fi movies last year. This and Moon (about a lonely astronaut on the moon). I`d watch the latter again, anytime.

Bride Wars and stuff

Just watched “Bride Wars” (a year late of watching it ^^). I`d give it umm.. two or two and a half stars though I love everything about the movie.. Hehe. The hair, the fashion, the gorgeous girls, the videography, the itsy bitsy items on their table (though I can’t say that it’s a REALLY funny movie). The story makes me wonder a bit.. When it comes to girls, why does it always have to be a competition? Sometimes we compare ourselves to others like who’s prettier, or smarter, have cooler stuffs, more popular, more perfect boyfriend, or whatever. One thing I got from the movie..

“Once you declare war, you’re gonna suffer the consequences.”

In such “wars”, would you prefer using..

The pair of scissors to back/frontstab the enemy and let them bleed to death or let live with a scar.

The rock that crushes them beyond recognition or sets them on fire.

The piece of paper that cuts them with a painful sting and makes them swear.
